Hand-airbrushed edges, a few shades darker than the rest of the shoe, give the chocolate Portofino II its depth of colour. The Portofino II has an improved sole: translucent natural rubber, comfortable underfoot and treated so it does not yellow. The upper is Italian Mastrotto suede with a penny strap across the front, fully lined and handmade in Europe. A loafer for the whole year, the colder months included.

Loafer
The loafer is a slip-on shoe without laces, which makes it easy to put on and take off. It typically has a low heel and a moccasin-style upper, and may have a decorative detail such as a strap (penny loafers), tassels (tassel loafers) or a metal horsebit. Some loafers are cut higher and cover the ankle. Loafers can be worn for both casual and semi-formal occasions and are usually made from leather or suede.
Featured Materials
Natural Rubber
Mastrotto is the best suede we can buy: the top tannery in the region, and by some margin the most expensive material in the shoe. Full grain, tightly napped, dyed deep through, which is why it holds its shape and its colour instead of going patchy where the shoe flexes.
The edges are darkened by hand with an airbrush, a few shades deeper than the body of the shoe. It gives suede the edge patina you normally only see on a leather shoe, and it means no two pairs come out quite the same.
The natural rubber sole is translucent, so it does not compete with the suede above it. It wears slower than leather and grips better on wet stone.
Restore that showroom look
Quick & Easily
Regularly brush your shoes with a suede brush to remove dirt and maintain the nap of the suede.
Brush in the same direction to avoid damaging the fibers.
Spray shoes with a suede protector. This will create a barrier against water, stains, and dirt.
If your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally away from direct heat.
Tough Stains- Apply a small amount of white vinegar to a cloth and dab the stain.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a shoe tree to maintain the shape
