The Savona Chiro is an ankle height loafer in black Italian Mastrotto suede with a crocodile pattern leather panel at the front, soft nap against embossed grain. Hand finished darker edges give each pair its own depth of tone. A memory foam insole and soft leather lining inside. Built on last 9 with a black Chiro sole.

Orders are shipped within 2-3 Business days - This is not applicable for Handmade Orders as these are specially made-to-order.

Free Shipping within the Netherlands for all orders over €150.

A Full refund for products returned within 14 days - please see our Refund Policy if you have any question.

Self Returns online can be easily processed by logging into your Reinhard Frans account and requesting a refund for your order. Returns shipments are for the customers account, alternatively you can visit any one of our stores for a FREE refund or exchange.

Care for Your Shoes

Regularly brush your shoes with a suede brush to remove dirt and maintain the suede nap.

Brush in the same direction to avoid damaging the fibres.

Spray shoes with a suede protector. This will create a barrier against water, stains, and dirt.

If your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally away from direct heat.

Tough Stains- Apply a small amount of white vinegar to a cloth and dab the stain.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a shoe tree to maintain the shape

Ensure the perfect fit

  1. Wear socks similar to the ones you plan to wear with the shoes.
  2. Stand upright with your heel against the wall.
  3. Mark the longest part of your foot (usually the tip of your big toe or second toe)
  4. Use the ruler to measure the distance from the wall (heel) to the toe mark.
  5. Repeat the process for both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other.
  6. Use the measurement of the longer foot when determining your shoe size.
  7. Use our shoe size chart from Reinhard Frans (located above next to sizes) to convert your foot length to the correct shoe size.

Featured Materials

Chiro Black

Mastrotto suede is one of the better suedes available: full grain, tightly napped, dyed deep through. The edges are darkened by hand with an airbrush, which is why the depth of tone shifts slightly from pair to pair.

The black Chiro sole is a little more structured than our Artisan Rubber, so it lifts the loafer and keeps it light underfoot. Black on black means the sole reads as part of the shoe rather than a contrast, which suits an evening loafer.
