The Stockholm is our monk strap boot in light cognac French calfskin, tanned in Italy. One buckle instead of laces, a high collar for support around the ankle, a cushioned footbed inside. Blake stitched, so the upper and sole are sewn through in a single pass and the profile stays slim. Light cognac shows a patina sooner than a dark leather does.

Self Returns online can be easily processed by logging into your Reinhard Frans account and requesting a refund for your order. Returns shipments are for the customers account, alternatively you can visit any one of our stores for a FREE refund or exchange.

Care for Your Shoes

Use a leather conditioner every few months to keep the leather hydrated and soft

Regular polishing maintains shine and protect leather from damage

Use a high-quality shoe polish- Apply with a soft cloth, then buff to a shine with a shoe brush

Wooden shoe trees help maintain shoe shape, absorb moisture, and prevent creasing

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight & heat

Ensure the perfect fit

  1. Wear socks similar to the ones you plan to wear with the shoes.
  2. Stand upright with your heel against the wall.
  3. Mark the longest part of your foot (usually the tip of your big toe or second toe)
  4. Use the ruler to measure the distance from the wall (heel) to the toe mark.
  5. Repeat the process for both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other.
  6. Use the measurement of the longer foot when determining your shoe size.
  7. Use our shoe size chart from Reinhard Frans (located above next to sizes) to convert your foot length to the correct shoe size.

Featured Materials

Artisan Rubber

French calfskin, tanned in Italy. It softens with wear and takes on a patina at the vamp where the shoe flexes. Feed it a conditioner a few times a year and it keeps going.

Blake stitched means the upper and the sole are sewn through in a single pass, with no welt between them. It keeps the profile slim and the boot close to the ground, it breaks in faster than a welted boot, and it can still be resoled by a cobbler who works that way.
