Dress Boot
Dress boots are a stylish and formal type of ankle-length footwear designed to pair well with suits and other refined outfits. They typically feature sleek leather construction, a slim silhouette, and polished details such as broguing, cap-toes, or smooth finishes. Often equipped with laces or zippers for a snug fit, dress boots offer a sophisticated alternative to traditional dress shoes while providing additional ankle coverage and warmth. They are ideal for formal or semi-formal occasions, especially in cooler weather. We make ours as a full-brogue balmoral in suede or calfskin.
Featured Materials
Extra Light Rubber
Mastrotto is the best suede we can buy: the top tannery in the region, and by some margin the most expensive material in the shoe. Full grain, tightly napped, dyed deep through, which is why it holds its shape and its colour instead of going patchy where the shoe flexes.
The edges are darkened by hand with an airbrush, a few shades deeper than the body of the shoe. It gives suede the edge patina you normally only see on a leather shoe, and it means no two pairs come out quite the same.
Broguing a suede upper is harder than broguing calf, because the perforations have to be cut cleanly enough that the nap does not close over them.
Restore that showroom look
Quick & Easily
Regularly brush your shoes with a suede brush to remove dirt and maintain the nap of the suede.
Brush in the same direction to avoid damaging the fibers.
Spray shoes with a suede protector. This will create a barrier against water, stains, and dirt.
If your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally away from direct heat.
Tough Stains- Apply a small amount of white vinegar to a cloth and dab the stain.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a shoe tree to maintain the shape
